For the development of Weirdo, the research phase to fully understand the user was crucial. Several user journeys were developed, mainly based on interviews conducted in the field, in order to identify the needs and critical stages in which the service could be placed.
The project made it possible to identify guidelines for addressing the users studied, in particular with regard to how to engage the children and how to circumvent the preconceptions present within the Italian educational system. In fact, the objective was to help children name their passions by exploiting the stories of the public figures they followed, gamification and the discovery of alternative school paths.
